Updated: Junction 30-31 has early morning heavy congestion and tailbacks on A13

Updated: By 9am it was reported congestion had eased and the bridge is flowing freely.

TRAFFIC is backed up around the QEII bridge and M25 access roads this morning following roadworks and congestion.

The bridge was closed at one point and there are large tailbacks heading westbound on the A13.

Highways England report that things may be easing but the disruption has already caused some bus routes to be cancelled.

There have an continue to be severe delays to Ensign's X80 service and the company reports significant disruption and a limited service on route 44.
