THURROCK Milliner, Katie Vale, recently attended Royal Ascot where she was excited to be interviewed by the national press while modelling one of her bespoke designs on the famous Ladies Day.

As co-founder and a director of the British Millinery Association, she was enjoys attending the event each year to meet with other milliners and view all of the fashion on display.

Wearing an olive green midi top hat, decorated with a dramatic flourish of peacock feathers, Katie subsequently appeared in several press articles since, including the Daily Mirror and ITV News.

She described Royal Ascot as 'Christmas Day for Milliners'.
