KNITTING needles are again clicking vigorously as a local group supports another good cause.

The Needles and Chat group has been knitting Easter Chicks to raise money for the Essex Deaf Childrens charity.

They are on sale at the Post Office in Little Thurrock and The Wharf pub on Wharf Road South in Grays, priced £2.50 each. Each chick comes with either a Cadbury creme egg or a Cadbury carmel egg.
