Ladies end year with festivities

By Neil Speight 11th Dec 2019

A YEAR of meetings by a popular Grays social group came to an end with a Christmas party.

The last meeting of 2019 for Grays (Afternoon) Townswomen's Guild featured entertainment was arranged by committee member Audrey Haines, which included sketches, a quiz and Christmas carols.

Members enjoyed an excellent festive buffet.

The chairman reminded members who were attending of the Christmas Lunch and pantomime visit and wished everyone a Happy Christmas and good New Year.

The next meeting is on Wednesday, 22 January at the Methodist Church Hall, Hathaway Road, Grays, when new members will be welcome.
