Latest event for Thurrock LGBTQIA+ community

THE next film and social evening organised by Thurrock LGBTQIA+ will feature the film Moulin Rouge (12A).

It will take place on Tuesday, 30 August at the Thameside Theatre, Orsett Road, Grays.

The LGBTQIA+ cinema and social is for LGBTQIA+ community and their allies to connect . Organisers have worked closely with members of the LGBTQIA+ community to show films that reflect and represent queer culture on screen.

They says: "Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for folks to watch films and make friends."

Thurrock and Brentwood Mind staff will be available at the theatre from 7pm to chat about the services and support they offer. You can also get involved with their new research project on Mental Health Inequalities.
