THE latest Automated External Defibrillator (AED() organised by the Katies Heart Appeal is now in place – situated at Horndon on the Hill Village Hall.

Katies Heart appeal founder Charlotte Davies said: "We have officially handed over the Horndon on the Hill Village Hall AED, cabinet, and bleed control kit to the wonderful Chairperson, Nell Edwards.

"It has been an absolute pleasure working with Neil on this, and I am so grateful for him joining us on our Katie's Heart Appeal mission.

"The funds were raised from our amazing Horndon 10k team and generous donations from Horndon residents and businesses.

"Again, our star Vince Knight, VK Electrical Services, fitted the cabinet as his donation to the community. As always, we hope this AED never has to leave its cabinet, but so happy it is there in case it is ever needed in an emergency.

"If anyone would like to help with fundraising, please message our page of email us at [email protected]
