Lorry crash causes bridge tailback

TRAFFIC is backed up for several miles on the M25 following an accident involving two lorries on the exit from the QEII bridge.

It happened around 12.30pm (Thursday, 1 December).

Two lanes are closed at Junction1B with the A296 and the lorries are awaiting recovery.

Traffic has tailed back over the bridge and queues run for an estimated six miles.

At 6.15pm it was reported all lanes had been reopened and the crashed veheicles removed.

It was estimated that the delays would take around 90 minutes to clear.
