A MAN has been charged in connection with three sexual assaults in Aveley and Grays.

Detectives from Grays CID are investigating three reports from women who were sexually assaulted on the 6 and 7 December.

On Wednesday, 8 December, officers arrested a 32-year old local man in connection with the investigation.

Len Scamp, 32, of Love Lane, Aveley, has been charged with three counts of sexual assault and appeared at Southend Magistrates' court yesterday, Friday, 10 December.
