CREWS from all three borough fire stations worked together to cut a man free from the cab of his lorry after a crash on the A13.

It happened on Friday afternoon at 2.30pm near Aveley when crews from Grays, Orsett and Corringham attended.

Two lorries had collised and the man was freed after an operation that took around an hour.

He was left in the care of the ambulance service.
