Man held after admitting stalking charge

A TILBURY man has admitted charges of stalking involving fear of violence and is being held in prison until his sntencing next month.

Mac Chapman, 35, of Melba Gardens, was the subject of a police appeal for information earlier this year and was arrested on Wednesday, 7 April.

He was subsequently charged with stalking involving fear of violence and pleaded guilty when he appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody to be sentenced at Basildon Crown Court on Thursday, 6 May.
