Man in court over Vietnamese deaths after being extradited

A MAN was due to appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court today (3 September) in connection with the deaths of 39 people who were discovered in a lorry trailer in Grays in October 2019.
Dragos Stefan Damian, 27, of no fixed address was extradited yesterday.
He was arrested just outside of Milan on Thursday 10 June.
He has been charged with conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration and encouraging or assisting the commission of an offence.
