Man left with serious injuries after assault in Tilbury

A MAN was left with significant injuries after being attacked in Tilbury last night (Saturday, 22 August).

Police are appealing for information about the assault which left the victim with fractures to his face.

It was reported the man, who is in his 30s, was assaulted in the Dunlop Road car park at around. He was taken to hospital for treatment on facial fractures included a fractured nose.

The man he was assaulted by has been described as being Asian, in his early 20s, around 5ft 10ins tall, slim, with shoulder-length black hair which has blonde streaks in it.

A statement from police says: "If you saw what happened, have any CCTV or dash cam footage or have any other information please call us on 101 quoting the crime reference number 42/132140/20 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
