Man seriously injured in Tilbury quad bike crash

A MAN suffered serious injuries and is being treated in hospital following a collision between a quad bike and a grey Vauxhall Astra between Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary yesterday evening (Thursday, 5 June).

Police investigating the incident, which happened around 4.50pm on Marshfoot Road, are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.

Police say a number of other quad bikes are believed to have been in the vicinity of the collision at the time. 

A police statement says: "Anyone who has any information or footage which could assist our investigation is asked to get in touch quoting incident 766 of 5 June.
