Man suffers severe injuries after E-scooter incident

A MAN remains in a life-threateninmg condition in hospital after a crash close to the Gateway Academy in Tilbury.

It happened yesterday (Monday, 18 March) shortly before 11.30am. Emergency services were alerted when a call was received from a member of the public reporting a man lying injured on the ground near an E-scooter on Marshfoot Road, the A126,

A statement from Essex Police says: "We are appealing for information after a serious collision involving an E-scooter in Grays. 

"Officers were called to the scene, in Marshfoot Road, shortly before 11.30am on Monday 18 March. 

"A man was taken on to hospital with a serious head injury, where he remains in a life-threatening condition. 

"Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing as we look to establish how the man obtained his injuries. 

"Anyone with any information, or footage, which could assist our investigation is asked to come forward.
