Match will remember murdered 'Noggo' and raise funds for family

A FOOTBALL match has been arranged in Tilbury to raise funds for the family of a local man who was murdered.

A match has been organised by family and friends in his memory and will take play at Tilbury FC's Chadfields ground on Wednesday, 27 April.

Mr North's brother Chrisey says: "Noggo loved his football and played in the Thurrock Sunday League for many years and won many honours along the way.

"So we have been getting a team together made up of a mixture of family and ex-players that played with him that will be called Noggos 11. "We will be playing against his Sunday league team Stanford Royals. Kick off will be at 7.30pm. We will also be doing a raffle, an auction and other bits to raise money for Kerry and their three children Frankie, Shani and Alfie. "It will be £5 on the gate £4 admission fee and £1 for a raffle ticket. Kids under 13 will be free We hope everyone can make it and come and show their support."
