Mayor pops in to support biker event steeped in history

BOROUGH mayor Cllr Sue Shinnick was guest of honour at today's (Sunday, 5 September) Royal British Legion Riders' event at the Purfleet Heritage and Military Centre.

Also present at the event were West Thurrock councillors Qaisar Abbas, Victoria Holloway and Lee Watson.

All proceeds from the event on a sun-soaked afternoon will go the the centre on Centurion Way.
