A consultation meeting will take place in Aveley this week about plans to build homes on land west of Park Lane in the village.

It is being hosted by potential developers Scott Properties and will take place from 2 to 3pm at Aveley Football Club on Park Lane., adjacent to Lance Corporal Nicky Mason Way.

A statement from Scott Properties says: "We would like to invite local residents to view and comment on these proposals."
