RESIDENTS and guests at a borough sheltered housing complex have raised around £250 for the Macmillan cancer charity.

They attended a spiritualism evening in the lounge at Freeman Court complex in Corringham which was organised by some of the residents.

Readings were presented by Jodie Ruskin.
