A LOCAL driver could find himself in trouble with the law after a video was posted online of him driving erratically and mocking another driver and his passenger who has indicated they were unhappy he was using a mobile while driving.

Karl West, from Stanford-le-Hope, was so angry about the other driver's behaviour and dangerous driving he took to social media to post the film, which was taken by his passenger, and called on the other driver to be named and shamed.

He has also forwarded the information to the police who say they will be looking into the matter.

You can see the video here.

Karl said: "It happened as I was on the A13 approaching the Stanford turn off. This guy was on his phone so I waved at him to stop. He then waved at me with the phone in his hand and then accelerated and cut me up.

"I just wanted to post the video so anyone who knows him can just show him how stupid he looks.

However, having had so many comments - and thinking about it as I see a lot of people on their phones - I have informed the police."
