More to smile about at happy school

THERE's even more to smile about at Thurrock's 'happiest' school, Arthur Bugler.

The Stanford-le-Hope school, already officially acknowledged in national happiness awards, is celebrating after it was announced it has been shortlisted for the Healthy Living Award at the Thurrock Civic Awards 2020.

The Thurrock Civic Awards is a significant event which celebrates local people and organisations in the borough that make a positive difference to their communities.

Headteacher John Bryant saidL "As a school we are delighted to be finalists for another award that recognises that our school has a real focus on the mental health and well-being of all children and staff to ensure that everyone can be the best that they can be in a safe and secure environment."

The awards presentation evening is on Friday, 28 February.
