THE occupiers and owners of an office building in Grays have wasted little time in submitting a formal planning application after being told that is what they have to do if they wish to covert it into a place of worship.

Thurrock Nub News reported, late last month, on a failed bid to try and circumvent a lengthy planning process by seeking a 'certificate of lawfulness' rather than a planning permission for the building on Clarence Road in Grays.

Applicants, the Taleem Foundation, were told they needed to make a formal, full application.

That has now been submitted and details can be viewed via this link.
