Motorbike rider taken to hospital after Grays crash

POLICE managed traffic while an injured man was treated following an accident on the Daneholes roundabout in Grays last evening (Thursday, 19 January).

It happened around 6.30 and involved a motorbike rider.

A statement from the East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 6.32pm with reports that a man had come off his motorbike on the A1013 in Grays. An ambulance was sent to the scene and transported the man to Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
