Motorists advised to give Chadwell cross roads a miss after hole opens up

THURROCk Council has advised motorists to avoid the Cross Keyys junction in Chadwell St mary after a hole oipened up in the middle of the road this afternoon (Tuesday, 9 June).
The council has issued the following message: "A sink hole has been reported at the traffic light junction by Cross Keys Masonic Centre in Chadwell St Mary.
"Our teams are on their way to assess, and there will likely be some disruption to traffic, so please avoid the area where possible."
