Never mind the rain, runners battled elements and supported borough charity
MEMBERS of Thurrock Nomads, who regularly take part in park runs at Orsett Heath didn't let a little thing like Storm Darrage put them off supporting a local good cause.
Despite the driving rain, strong winds and the cold yesterday's (Saturday, 7 December) run went ahead - with attending members and volunteers taking donations of food and cash for Thurrock Foodbank.
Afterwards the group gathered at a member's home for a very welcome hot drink and a celebration of what they have achieved.
The group have alrady completed more than 400 park runs and plan to keep going and supporting more good causes.
