PERMISSION has been granted by planning officers for the building of two new detached houses in the green belt in Fobbing.

The two houses will be on a plot on the junction of the High Road and Waterworks Lane.

A number of planning applications for new homes in the area have been refused, but in this instance officers have made the decision that the new large four bedroom homes on the site – and changes to the existing dwelling – will not appear unduly cramped or out-of-keeping with the character or appearance of the locality.

The full notice of approval for the application, which was not considered by councillors, can be found via this link.
