New priest for ministry and Chadwell St Mary

A NEW priest to serve Chadwell St Mary received a warm welcome on the occasion of her licencing and installation this evening (Monday, 23 May).
A service took place at the parish church of Sts Peter and Paul, Grays, when the Rev Dr Kate Carter became a team vicar of Grays Thurrock Team Ministry and associate priest for the parish of Chadwell St Mary.
The licensing was conducted by the Bishop of Chelmsford, the Rt Rev Dr Guli Francis-Dehqani and the installation by the acting Archdeacon of Southend, the Rev Canon Mike Power.
