AS part of ongoing celebrations for the Queen's 70 year reign, Ockendon Children's Centre has organised a community walk and a series of special workshops on Tuesday, 14 June that everyone is welcome to attend.

Following a short walk around the local South Ockendon area beginning at 4pm, members of the community are invited back to the centre for a special performance from young carers.

There will also be dance and poetry writing workshops.

The workshops are part of the T100 Festival which sees a number of 'walking, talking and making' events take place across the region through to Saturday 25 June.

Full details of all upcoming events are available to view on the T100 Festival website.
