Open evening at borough's newest secondary school

An open evening for parents, careers and pupils will be held at Thurrock's newest secondary school next week.

Thames Park Secondary School, is a new free school that opened in temporary accommodation in the heart of Grays in September 2020.

The school moved to its new purpose built facilities on Chadwell Road, Grays (RM17 5FP), last year.

Head Sam Dyer says: "We are the newest secondary school within the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. Thames Park Secondary School aims to provide an outstanding education for all its students.

"We have a strong focus on digital education running throughout our curriculum and are passionate about making our learning both exciting and memorable.

Ms Dyer will be making three presentations during the open evening on Tuesday, 10 October.

She will speak first at 5.15pm, then 6.15 and fiinally at 7.15.

There will be a tour of the facility after the 5.15 presentation and again after the 6.15 one.

Parents, carers and pupils are recommended to allow 45 minutes for the tour.
