A PARK in Stanford-le-Hope provided the backdrop this morning (Monday, 15 May) for a fashion shoot featuring young models wearing 'back to school' clothing.

It is for a marketing campaign to be launched later this year by a leading UK chain and some of the young people in the pictures are from the area.

The film crew from the London-based Aaltoproduction media company were also hoping to film on the streets of the adjacent Stanford and Maple Park estates during the day-long shoot.

Authorisation for the shoot was granted by Thurrock Council, who were also paid a fee.
