Pipes and drums lead last remembrance event

THE final service in Thurrock's sequence of remembrance events took place at Coalhouse Fort at East Tilbury this morning (Sunday, 24 November).
Borough mayor Cllr Terry Piccolo and former Lord Lieutenant of Essex, Lord Petre, were among the dignitaries in attendance.
The service, which was taken by Rev Michelle Marshall, began with a parade headed by the The Sutherland Pipes and Drums.
The Last Post was sounded and readings were made by Eddy Coull of the Royal Air Force Association.
