PLANS have been submitted to knock down a garage attached to a house at the end of a South Ockendon cul-de-sac and replace it with a new detached home.

The plan for the housing infill has been submitted for 1 5 Nursery Close where it is hoped to demolish the double garage and create a one bedroom two storey dwelling. The proposal includes creation of associated off street parking in front of the new and existing buildings.

Full details of the application, and the opportunity to comment can be found via this link.

How the new home would sit alongside an existing building once the garages are demolished.

The applicants have had discussions with Thurrock Council's planning team and following that an initial scheme for a three bedroom home build has been downsized.
