Police appeal after incident in residential street

POLICE are seeking information about an incident in Prospect Place, Stanford-le-Hope, which happened on Sunday and resulted in significant damage to two vehicles.

A statement from Essex Police says: "We were called to reports of a collision in Prospect Avenue, Stanford-le-Hope at around 3.50pm on Sunday, 27 December.

"We attended and a man was arrested but then de-arrested a short time later.

"Our enquiries are ongoing.

"If you have any information about the incident please call us on 101 quoting incident 673 of 27 December or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
