Police appeal after incident close to primary school

POLICE have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after an incident near a borough primarty school.
It happened as children and parents were leaving Graham James Academy on the Sorrells in Corringham and involved a confrontation between adults near an entrance to the adjacent medical centre.
A police appeal says: "Officers were called to a disturbance involving a group of people near a primary school on the Sorrells, at around 3.30pm on Monday, 2 March. No injuries were reported.
"As part of our enquiries, a woman, aged in her 40s, was later arrested on suspicion of common assault.
"She has been released on bail while an investigation continues.
