Police appeal for help to convict dangerous driver

POLICE are appealing for anyone who saw how a vehicle was being driven following an incident on the A13.

A statement from the Essex force says: "We were called at 9.20pm on Thursday (8 July) with concerns about how a silver Ford Focus was being driven on the A13 near Basildon.

Officers stopped the vehicle on the same road near Grays.

"A 34 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, and drug driving. He has since been released under investigation.

"We need anyone who saw how the vehicle was being driven or has any dash cam footage to contact us.
