Police appeal for information after collision where woman was hurt and bike rider left scene

POLICE are seeking witnesses or information about an incident in Purfleet-on-Thames that left a woman injured.

Officers investigating a collision involving a red and white motorcycle and a pedestrian that happened in Water Lane, sometime between 7.30am and 8am on Wednesday, 26 April.

 The motorcyclist left the scene where a woman in her 40s, sustained a fractured knee. 

 A police statement says: "We'd like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the collision or anyone who may have dash cam footage to contact us.

"If you have any information, you can submit a report online at https://www.essex.police.uk where you can use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am and 11pm. Please quote reference Crash 1170586.
