A POLICE car and an HGV were involved in a collision on the Manorway roundabout in Stanford-le-Hope early this afternoon.

A statement from Essex Police says: "Two vehicles were involved in a collision shortly before 12.40pm on Friday, 2 August at the junction of A1014 and A1013, Stanford-le-Hope.

"The collision involved an HGV and a police vehicle. No one has been injured."

The incident happened on the A1014 exit from the Manorway.
