Police issue CCTV image of alleged store thief and ask for help to identify him

ALMOST seven weeks after the offence was committed, Essex Police have issued a CCTV picture and asked members of the public, and a shop user, if they have recollection of information about theft from a Thurrock shop.
It was reported lottery scratch cards were taken from the Co-op store on Lodge Lane at Socketts Heath, Grays, at just before 9.15pm on Monday, 8 September.
Today (Sunday, 26 October), police have issued an image of the man in the shop, wearing a green baseball cap and black hooded gilet and say: "We want to speak to this man in connection with an investigation into a theft from a shop in Grays.
"We particularly want to speak to a woman who we believe was in the shop at the time.
"Please quote the crime reference number 42/129895/25 with any information.
