Police plea after seriously injured men turn up at hospital

POLICE are appealing for information about an incident, that possibly happened in Grays, which left two men with serious injuries.

At about 9.50pm on Wednesday 9 April, two men arrived at Basildon Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

They received urgent treatment and remain in a serious condition in hospital.

A police statement says: "We believe the men travelled to the hospital from Grays in a white Mercedes, and may have left the town about 9.15pm.

"We want to hear from anyone with any information about the incident that led to these men being injured, or anyone who also saw this car travelling in the Grays or Basildon areas on Wednesday evening.
