Police probe knife attack in Tilbury that left teenager injured

A TEENAGER with a large knife or machete attacked another youngster in Tilbury, leaving him with injuries.

A police statement says: "We are investigating following an incident in Tilbruy where a man was left injured.

"We were called to Montreal Road at around 4.55pm on Wednesday, 2 June to reports of a man, with what has been described as a knife or machete, assaulting another teenager who was on a moped.

"The victim, a 17 year-old boy, sustained injuries to his arm and buttock.

"Officers attended the area and carried out a search and our enquiries are ongoing."
