FOUR stolen vehicles have been recovered by police executing a warrant at an address near Stanford-le-Hope.

Officers visited the site on Stanford Road at around 8am on Saturday (30 September) and found three vans and a car there.

All the vehicles are believed to be stolen.

One of the vehicles – a white Ford Transit van – had been stolen from an address in Parsonage Road, Grays at around 9pm the previous day.

A police statement said: "Our enquiries into the discovery are ongoing and we're now working to identify the owners of all the vehicles found."

Detective Chief Inspector Al Blakesley said: "We recognise the impact that having your vehicle stolen can have.

"We are working hard to identify those involved and are trying to make Essex an uncomfortable place for thieves to operate.

"We need the people of Essex to help us in these efforts and I urge anyone who has information to get in touch"
