POLICE officers trying to locate a missing teenager have renewed an appeal for the public's help.

They are seeking the whereabouts of 17 year-old Almaro Pjetri, who is missing from Canvey Island.

An appeal to help find Almaro, who is Albanian, was published on 22 December and since that time officers believe has travelled into London, though they know he also has links to Grays.

He's described as white, of slim build, with short dark hair and stubble.

He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black coat and a bag.

A statement says: "We are worried about him and need to find him to make sure he's ok.

"Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call 101, citing incident 1203 of 8 December.

"You can also let us know by submitting a report on our website where you can use our online Live Chat service available Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 10am-9pm.

"Visit https://www.essex.police.uk/digital101to find out more about our website reporting services.
