Police search for man after violent and unprovoked attack in Tilbury

POLICE have issued an appeal for information about a man who assaulted two others in a violent attack in Tilbury.
Both men were injured after being truck with a large piece of wood at around 12.30am on Saturday 7 June, in the area of Broadway.
The attack has been shown on social media and can be views by this adult only link. The film contains foul language and violence.
A police statement says "Do you know this man? We want to speak to him in connection with an ongoing investigation into two serious assaults in Tilbury.
"The assaults took place at around 12.30am on Saturday 7 June, in the area of Broadway.
"It was reported two men were struck with a large item described as a piece of wood, causing injury.
"Both victims have received treatment and thankfully have not suffered life-threatening or life-changing injuries.

"An investigation into this matter is ongoing and we'd ask anyone with information which could assist us to come forward. Please cite incident 26 of 7 June.
