Police seek help to root out what happened in Vicarage Square

POLICE have asked residents for help in finding out what happened during an incident in Grays last night (Saturday, 30 July) when a 'disturbance' was reported.

A significant number of police officers were seen in the area of Vicarage Square and one part of it was codoned off for a period of time.

A statement from Essex Police today says: "Officers were made aware of reports of a disturbance in Vicarage Square, Grays, at around 6pm on Saturday .

"They carried out extensive enquiries and a search of the area but no evidence of any offences could be found.

"Anyone with information can contact Essex Police on 101."
