Police seek man with dog who is linked to assault

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in South Ockendon.

It was reported a man in his 30s was attacked in Cranell Green at 8.45pm on Wednesday, 19 July, leaving him with injuries to his head and shoulder. 

A statement from Essex Police says: "We are searching for a man described as white, bald, around 35 years old, wearing black clothing. He had a large dog with him.

"We are appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard the incident, or who may have any information about the people involved, to come forward.
