Police 'surround Grays'

ESSEX Police have reported on a successful traffic operation as part of their clampdown on rogue drivers.

In collaboration with Safer Essex Roads they marked 'Surround a Town' day in Grays yesterday with a variety of checkpoints, pulling over drivers.

They reported that 30 drivers were pulled in for various offences, three cars have been seized for no insurance and three drug drivers have been arrested.

Thurrock Road Safety Team and Essex Police have also been speaking to drivers about road safety issues.
