Police vehicle in collision while responding to 999 incident

A police car responding to an emergency was in collision with another vehicle on Stifford Road, South Ockendon, yesterday (Thursday, 20 August).

The incident happened at around 4pm and, in response to a number of social media reports including rumours that an officer died, police have issued a statement saying no-one was seriously injured.
