Police yet to issue a statement on South Ockendon incident

THURROCk Nub News has been aware, since last evening, of a major incident involving all three main emergency services that took place at Moor Lane fishing Lake near South Ockendon yesterday (Friday, 22 May).
However, as yet, Essex Police - which is the lead agency handling the matter, has declined to issue any details or a statement.
There is considerable comment on social media regarding the matter but Nub News will not publish any further information until we have an official statement from police.
As soon as we get a statement from Essex Police it will be shared here.
