DP World London Gateway in Thurrock, and its partner port in Southampton, have announced new sponsorship partnerships with local air ambulance charities – Essex & Herts Air Ambulance and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

These Air Ambulances are life-saving charities that provide rapid response medical services and critical care to patients.

As part of the partnership, both DP World sites are funding brand new flight kits for the charity's latest recruits, while also supporting their CPR training programmes.

This training will deliver life-saving skills to over 3,000 people across Hampshire and numerous schools across Essex and Hertfordshire, equipping them with the confidence to perform bystander CPR and other life-saving treatments.
