Post Office reopening date remains 22 December say service chiefs

DESPITE rumours to the contrary and speculation on local social media, the Post Office has confirmed to Thurrock Nub News that the planned reopening of Corringham Post Office on Friday, 22 December remains on scheduled.

The reassurance was given after several people contacted Nub News asking if rumours were true.

And confirmation was given that there will be three Post Office counters – two full screen and one open plan alongside the retail counter. Similar Post Office products and services will be available as before.

There will also be a convenience store with cards and stationery.

The new opening hours will be: Monday to Saturday: 9am – 6.30pm.
