Praise for caring students

By Neil Speight   18th May 2021

STUDENTS at South Essex Foodbank have been thanked by the Thurrock Foodbank for their efforts.

Sandra Sawle, business co-ordinator at the Corringham-based charity, says: "Thank you to Lauren Hooper for arranging a food collection among her fellow students on a public services course at South Essex College of Further and Higher Education in Grays.

"They collected 90kg - thank you to everyone who donated to Lauren's appeal."
